This is\u00a0much less common\u00a0after a stroke. Blind spots are missing patches in the visual field of the affected eye and can be of various shapes and sizes. Central vision ( directly in front) or\u00a0peripheral vision (around the sides of the visual field) can be affected. Check by closing each eye in turn.
